Haryana Government Approves Extension Of Textile Policy Through December 2026

Responding to significant industry demand, the Haryana Government has extended the Atma Nirbhar Textile Policy 2022-25 and its associated schemes by one year, now running until December 18, 2026, and further, the state Cabinet, under Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, has removed the cap on Capital Investment Subsidy for Textile Units, as confirmed by an official statement.

The Haryana Atma Nirbhar Textile Policy 2022-25, launched with a three-year goal of creating 20,000 jobs and attracting US$466 million in investment, aims to bolster the textile sector's competitiveness by fostering modern infrastructure, advanced technology adoption, and sustainable production practices.

To provide financial backing under the Haryana Atma Nirbhar Textile Policy 2022-25, several incentive programs were established, including the Capital Investment Subsidy for Textile Units, the Interest Subsidy Scheme, and the Investment Subsidy in lieu of Net SGST.

The Haryana Atma Nirbhar Textile Policy 2022-25 has proven successful in attracting investment for innovative textile projects, evidenced by the 354 applications received for various schemes, with 108 already approved, disbursing US$43 million in grant-in-aid, as stated in the official announcement.

Eliminating the cap on Capital Investment Subsidy incentives will directly support the policy's primary objectives of attracting US$466 million in investment and generating 20,000 employment opportunities, as stated in the announcement.
