Madhya Pradesh Embarks On New Textile Era With Approval Of Rs 2,100 Crore Pm Mitra Park

Madhya Pradesh has received a major boost with the formal approval of the Rs 2,100 crore PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) Park project. The project, sanctioned by the Union Ministry of Textiles, is set to transform the state's industrial future and elevate India's presence in the global textile landscape.

Spanning across 2,100 acres in Bhainsola village, Badnawar tehsil, Dhar district, the park is envisioned as a state-of-the-art hub featuring world-class facilities. It will include a 20 MLD Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) plant, a solar-powered energy setup, and Built-To-Suit (BTS) plug-and-play units to facilitate seamless operations for industries. Residential complexes for workers will also be established, ensuring an integrated ecosystem where employment and living converge smoothly.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav shared that this would be India's first integrated textile park of its kind, and its construction activities are set to be completed within 14 months. The project is strategically located close to major industrial and transport hubs, being just 110 km from Indore, 85 km from Pithampur industrial cluster, and 50 km from Delhi-Mumbai Expressway via Ratlam, with the nearest port, Hazira, 452 km away.

The response from the industry has been overwhelmingly positive, with investment proposals worth Rs 10,000 crore already received. Applications for land allocation will be invited soon, further energizing the momentum.

The PM MITRA Park is expected to create lakhs of job opportunities, attract significant investments, and strongly support Madhya Pradesh’s economy. With an eco-friendly infrastructure and advanced facilities, the park promises to be a game-changer not only for the state but also for India's textile sector.
