Vietnam’s textile industry is rapidly expanding in 2025. The last five months of the year are becoming successful with 9% growth of the country's textile export, which is reaching over 17.58 billion US dollars. Such growth is actively appreciated by the Vietnamese Govt and focusing on making it a crucial part of the economy. The goal is to improve the quality of products and make them more competitive on the international stage.
Vietnamese market experts consider this market growth and increasing interest and estimate the VIATT 2026 trade fair will get bigger as expected. The fair will be held from February 26-28, and expanded 20% to fit more companies. This expansion clearly indicates that most international exhibitors see great potential in Vietnam's market and want to showcase their products there.
The show will feature a wide range of international companies from three major textile areas: Apparel Fabrics & Fashion, Home textiles, and Technical Textiles & Technologies. Some of the well-known exhibitors will include Thomas Mason from Italy, Murata Machinery from Japan, and Sarex Chemicals. This variety shows that the fair is attracting key players from different parts of the world who are interested in the Vietnamese market.
The exhibition will also strongly focus on sustainability, which is a key part of Vietnam's national strategy. Special sections like the "Econogy Hub" and "Econogy Talks" will highlight environmentally friendly practices. This aligns with the government's push for a more circular economy and the use of green energy, showing that Vietnam is committed to both economic growth and a sustainable future for its textile industry.
