Reliance Industries Limited has reported its strongest-ever financial performance for FY26, supported by robust growth in retail and digital services. The company’s consolidated gross revenue increased 9.8% year-on-year to ₹11.75 lakh crore, while EBITDA rose 13.4% to ₹2.07 lakh crore. Profit after tax climbed 18.3% to ₹95,610 crore, reflecting strong operational efficiency and expanding consumer businesses. Chairman Mukesh Ambani said Reliance successfully navigated a challenging global environment marked by geopolitical tensions, energy price volatility, and shifting trade conditions.

Reliance Retail Ventures Limited emerged as a key growth engine during the year. The retail arm posted revenue of ₹3.70 lakh crore, up 11.8%, while profit after tax rose 11.7% to ₹13,838 crore. The company expanded aggressively, opening 1,564 new stores and taking its nationwide network to 20,160 outlets with a total retail footprint of 78.3 million square feet. Growth was driven by broader reach into underserved markets, strong consumer demand, and improved supply chain efficiency.

Digital and fashion platforms also performed strongly. AJIO recorded a 23% increase in average bill value and expanded its product catalogue to around 3 million options. Its rapid-delivery service, AJIO Rush, was extended to more than 600 cities. Premium and luxury categories also saw healthy growth, especially menswear, eyewear, and children’s wear. Hyper-local commerce became one of the standout growth drivers, with daily orders rising more than 300% year-on-year in the fourth quarter. Reliance now operates one of India’s largest hyper-local delivery networks across 1,200 cities and 5,100 pin codes through over 3,100 stores.

The company also accelerated digital transformation, upgrading more than 1,500 stores and integrating AI into merchandising, supply chains, pricing, and omni-channel fulfilment. With strong momentum and expanding scale, Reliance appears well positioned for another phase of sustained growth in FY27.
